Inlet Seafood Restaurant: A Taste of Coastal Culinary Excellence

We’ve been coming here for years. Our most recent trip was great and the staff hit it out of the park. We had four adults and two young children in our party. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and patient with the kiddos. We sat outside overlooking the inlet, listening to live music. It was a killer night! I’ve had the whole sea bass tempura and grilled… go tempura if you’re on the fence. The batter is light and not overly thick. I wish I got our waitresses name because she was great. Well done!

What a beautiful place ! Amazing views! Bigger serves than what I expected and very nice. The mussels were beautiful The clam chowder was also nice. I would have added a bit more flavour, though. I like a lot of flavour. The whole grilled black sea bass was extremely nice. Each mouthful was flavoursome. The fish and chips were fantastic. Fries were crunchy, and the fish was fresh. Salad also amazing. Fresh and tasty. Well done! A great venue for a special birthday.

We love this place! Have been going since it first opened and it’s one of my families favorite places to eat! The staff is wonderful and the service is great! We recently went to the new backyard area and ate while we listened to some great live music and watched a beautiful sunset. Michael served us outside and he’s always the best! The backyard menu is limited but had great options on it for sushi and other delish apps. Also they have the BEST sushi in town!!

We were from out of state and had just visited the lighthouse and were looking for a spot for lunch. Most places were now closed for the season but this restaurant was open. Only the upstairs was open but that was great as it provided an even better water view. It was a good lunch spot and we enjoyed our food and view before the ride back to the MacArthur airport area.

Beautiful restaurant on the water. We’ve been coming here since kids were young and dined many times. Now we are local in Montauk for the season, we came back to one of our favorite spot. Today’s meal was exceptional and the view was amazing. Many customers were sitting outdoors. Local steamer was so juicy, grilled monk fish was cooked perfect and fish & chips are better than London! Definitely coming back with family when they come out for summer.

We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views at Inlet Seafood Restaurant — truly one of the best in Montauk. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A perfect spot for a relaxing meal with a view. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday at noon. There's ample parking at the property. There are multiple levels of seating options with a view of the inlet. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available. Staff is attentive and quick. Food is good but there's room for improvement. Drinks are awesome. The menu is rich and has unique cocktails. What deserves a special mention? The view from the open area is pleasant and great for a sunny day. What could be better? Indoor seats could be separated more. Not everyone likes the smell of what others are eating.

Inlet isn’t just a seafood restaurant in Montauk, it’s a cozy, scenic place to eat where meals are simply yet elegantly prepared. The sushi is as good as it gets, every entree is perfectly cooked down to the last string of spaghetti. The sunset and food are equally delicious!
